Includes a psychiatric
evaluation of candidate potential to undergo Gastric
Bypass Surgery. Today there are hundreds of weight loss
diets and weight loss programs. Unfortunately, studies
show that up to 95% of people who lose weight non-surgically
regain that weight, and sometimes more. Gastric bypass
surgery - or "stomach stapling" - as a treatment
for morbid obesity has been around for more than 30
years. Our laparoscopic gastric bypass technique is
minimally invasive which allows for more precision,
less trauma to the patient, and therefore quicker healing
after weight loss surgery. PACT Atlanta LLC works with
all area bariatricians to provide psychological consultation,
treatment and support to weight loss surgical candidates.
We provide reports, when applicable, to expedite clearance
for surgery.
